Chris Zhang is Senior Partner and managing partner of Jincheng Tongda & Neal Law Firm,and a member of the 11th 12th National Youth Federation, “Innovation Scholar” of Yale University of the United States, and the Chief Legal Adviser of the Global Alliance of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in China. She serves as an independent director of Anhui Fengyuan Biochemical Co., Ltd., Anhui Sichuang Electronics Co., Ltd., Anhui Wanneng Co., Ltd., Anhui Conch Cement Co., Ltd. and Jiangxi Changyun Co., Ltd., and as a member of the internal assessment group of Hua’an Securities Co., Ltd.

Chris has more than 20 years of experience as a lawyer. She holds a number of degrees in law, English, business administration and finance. She has an outstanding track record and demonstrated competence in many fields of work. She was selected as one of the Top 100 Chinese Lawyers, and was awarded the “Third Class Merit of Individual Lawyer” due to her outstanding performance in foreign-related legal services; nominated the Best Dispute Resolution Lawyer in China Law & Practice 2017; selected by ALB in August 2019 as “2019 ALB China Client Choice Top 20 ”; selected by the 40th Anniversary of the Celebration of New China and the Restoration of the Chinese Lawyer System – Outstanding Law Yearbook of China in 2019; selected by China Business Law Journal in October 2020 as “A-List of China’s elite lawyers”.

Chris has successfully represented clients in more than 1,000 domestic and foreign litigation, commercial arbitration, major investment and capital market projects. The cases she acted in included commercial trials before the Supreme People’s Court. For many years, Chris has been a lawyer of choice for government agencies at all levels, financial institutions, international and domestic large enterprises and listed companies. The foreign-related projects she handled included the Selection of 《Foreign-related Cases》and the “First Batch of Ten Classic Cases of Shanghai Foreign-related Investment”.
